Intimidation Tactic #1: Criminalize activity in public, look for the broken law later

One of what must be hundreds of protesters has been identified and interviewed by police. He is the focus of national attention as a result of hanging hundreds of the Obama Joker posters around Florida.

Here's the rub:

"They prompted the postmaster to contact the Postal Inspector's office, which is looking at potential federal crimes for defacing federal property."

"City officials, meanwhile, are trying to determine what local crimes might be associated with the posting of the images on public and private properties. "

They don't know what laws have been broken... except that he has blasphemed the chosen one. That is crime enough. The actual broken laws will be discovered later.

Here is the intimidation: by vilifying this man in public, calling out potential federal crimes, the Obama thought police will continue to slowly make criticizing the president-elect "illegal" before any known law is broken.

That isn't fear-mongering, that is totalitarianism.
